Omar al-Bashir, the Sudanese president, has arrived in Qatar to attend the Arab League summit, defying an arrest warrant issued against him for alleged war crimes in Darfur by the International criminal court(ICC).
I have never ever thought that the Arab leader would unite someday like they did in their rejection of the international court of justice disicion in regard Bashir's indictment.
No wonder why they all sympathized with Bashir and rose to the challenge to back The star of the 2009 Arab summit, since most of them have a shady human right record.
The scale of double standard which has been employed to vindicate al bashir from his connection with crime against humanity offset a similar approach by some of the Arab participant in the Arab league along with their ally in the west concerning Gaza Carnage. The implicit justification [for rejection the ICC decision] is that because Israel got away with its massacres in Lebanon and Gaza, so should we in Darfur as it was articulated implicitly by more than high profile official as though the ordinary people whether in Darfur or Gaza are worthless in the ruling elites' calculations and that what explains Al Bashir's behavior when he expelled the foreign aid workers from darfur following his indictment for war crimes and calling them "spies" and "thieves."
Anyway, it would have been really nice if the leaders in the Arab summit encouraged a reconciliation in western Sudan to put an end to the misery instead of upholding the Sudanese president stance concerning the whole Darfur issue.

But what really sickens me in this story is the Arab mainstream media black out on the humanitarian crises in darfur leaving the Arab public unaware or the real situation on the ground, not only that but also making way for foreign agencies to report in a manner compatible with certain foreign policies.

You can help Amnesty International to stop the human rights abuses in Darfur. However, if you are suspicious of "you know", you can still send you donation through Muslim Aid.

The incident took place at Cambridge University, England when the Chinese Premier "Wen Jiabao" was giving a lecture about building harmonic international relations. An unnamed source reported that both the pro-Tibet and "al zaidi" shoes were Chinese made. Well, I think that is why they keep missing.

BBC refused to air an appeal to help the people living in Gaza claiming that it would risk confidence in its impartiality.
John Ryley, head of Sky News, said "Our commitment as journalists is to cover all sides of that story with uncompromising objectivity,".
This echoed BBC director general Mark Thompson's concern that the corporation should not give the impression it was "backing one side" over the other.
I guess, this is true, but what I don’t understand is how would helping the devastated people in Gaza be interpreted as backing one side??? Actually Mixing humanitarian relief effort with politics is backing one side.
The picture is clear, unfortunately the people in Gaza undergoing through a humanitarian catastrophes as a result of Israel’ aggravated assault.
Ban ki moon descrided the crisis in a gaza as a distant one the palestinan have to endure compairing to their daily crisis and he launched an appeale for 613 million to help elevate the suffering of this humanotarian issues.

Another major appeal to help the palestinians overcome some measures of the hardship, but it seems that the boss in BBC and behind him the zionists in Israel were trying to punish the palestinians for their choice in 2006 election.

Anyway, The damaged has already been made to BBC’s neutrality by not responding positively to such a compassionate appeal.

It was a war from one side waged by multinational lie fabricating machines that is largely influenced and financed by staunch Zionists who are elaborating Israel interest over that of the countries they are working from. They are always seeking to dominate media outlets, movie production agencies or whatever they can get their hand on to market their ideology.

Now that the Palestinian got some recognition from the free media, the Zionist start whining about being the victims of the Arab propaganda. When I read political to the so called Arabs moderate who differentiate themselves from the radicals such as Hezbollah and Hamas, I ascertain that the Israel propaganda was feasible to some extent.

The pro-western advocates argue that the destruction inflicted on the Palestinians was brought by Hamas which is reluctant to fathom that Israel is a relentless furious enemy that you can't provoke…its like they are suggesting that Hamas should give up fighting Israel so they can live in peace.

We didn't hear the elites in the Arab world renouncing Resistance when some of the Arab regimes were establishing relations with Israel as we hear it now. Back then it seemed like there were choices, but since negotiation had failed to live up to the Palestinian ambitions, resistance become a plausible alternative especially in circumstances the Gazan are subjected to.

Regardless Hamas ideology or their conduct in Gaza in the past three years, launching the Qassams was an act of resistance since it is the only mean possible for self defence, Yet they are not to be held responsible for the Palestinians woes that was the result of the inhumane blockade imposed by occupation as a punitive measure to subjugate whomever rebel against it.

So when the "moderates" tackle the latest assault on Gaza, they start by bashing Hamas for its resistance and ending by pointing fingers at Iran that inciting terrorism. As though there is no occupation or building settlements in Gaza and the worst of all as if there is no siege. There was a steady peace process going on and people are enjoying the benifit of having peace and then in a cowardly decision Hamas decided that to wipe off israel of the map representing by that Iran's interest.

If we make an analogy between those who are grumbling now about Hamas’s self defence actions and those voices in Lebanon before 2000 ,who believed that the blood can’t defeat the sword , we will find that they are the ones who haven’t learned nothing…

Israel have left the Palestinian no choice but to fight. If Israel has the intention to settle the conflict diplomatically they could have reached an agreement with Arafat or even Abbas - who continued his predecessor methodology in surrendering-till Hamas, the democratically elected government, came to power as an alternative to an incompetent authority that has constantly proved its failure in making any progress In favor of the Palestinians.

It is stated in Hamas’s charter the call for the destruction of Israel, however a six month truce was Officially agreed despite the Israel's embargo that was inconsistent with the concept of truce.
The leaders in Gaza were not only willing to proceed on condition that Israel ease the blockade, but also expressed there concession on settling the conflict on the June 67 borders…

Actually It was Israel’s objective to destroy Gaza and as a matter of fact to crush the Palestinian’s determination and re-instil the fear factor.

What has the Israeli mighty powerful killing machine that they keep bragging about accomplished ?

Has the assault achieved something other then electoral benefits for the Israeli war stars and killing for the sake of killing?…
Once again The Hebrew state finds itself incapable of restoring the power of deterrence that 2006 war with Hezbollah served as a proof for its collapse. It definitely consists a sharp turn in Israel’s future. Their crimes in Gaza outraged the whole world. Sympathy was the leash they led the world with is broken now.

Who knows what will Israel resort to In order to subjugate the emerging defiant movements in it neighbouring countries.

I Have been trying to start to blog ever since I heard on CNN about blogs and bloggers back in 2004. To be honest, blogger.com logo is what drew my attention at first. The more I heard about blogs the more m fascinated I got. The fact that anyone can write and publish perplexed me that I tried to stay out of the blogging magnetic field. (everyone is a publisher and can reach a wide range of recipients) internationally…

My reluctance to blogging stems from the effusion of blogs that confounded the good with the bad with frenzy. Torrent of blogs and its comments concealed valubale blogs. However new tools were created, such as Digg.com and Technorati, have rerouted the good blogs and gave it a deserved exposure.

The unprecedented flow of information without any restrain empowered regular people with no affiliation , activist or even minorities to spread and promote their cause around the world freely. Everybody now can take the initiative to bring an interesting matter to the spot light, blogging have removed virtually all barriers that prohibited publication by the masses.

Some years ago Few had the chance to publish or to express their opinion since the channel for that were limited , you had to be at least a journalist with a platform to be able to do so ….but with the emergence of blogsphere many are really utilizing the right of free speech to the fullest…it eluded dictatorships by bypassing all filters and screening process usually exerted by the media institution and later by the government.

For intance,in the recent incidents that took place in Gaza, I was ramaging on the net ,for other sources of news, till I stumbled upon quite a lot of articles written by Gaza activists who knew whatembargo, sanction and death meant. The reality of situation in Gaza was greatly obscured , the mass only had one side of the story all the time…the imbalance of western media news coverage was pretty obvious …a great deal of blogs owners availed themselves the opportunity to show their support to Gaza and shed light on the blackout fact about the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Blogging, Not only served as an alternative to mainstream media outlet ;that favors its banefactore, but also contested it on presenting the truth from the realible sources. The impact of some material on the social and political scene has gain the blogs great credibility . Several news agency has resorted to blogs in acquiring the news. Some blogs owner rendered their blogs as a source of news that contributed to shaping the news and forming the public opinion .

The scope of the internet gives me a glimps of hope as a middle eastern, Hoping that I can help reducing stereotype threat confronting my people.
